TNL urges for transfer of Ukhrul DC

IMPHAL, July 3: The Tangkul Naga Long, Ukhrul has today issued a press release saying that the following Tangkhul frontal organisations namely Tangkhul Naga Long (TNL), Tangkhul Katamnao Saklong (TKS), Tangkhukl Shanao Long (TSL) and Tangkhul Mayar Ngala Long (TMNL) have jointly urged the government of Manipur for immediate transfer of the Deputy Commissioner of Ukhrul, R Sudhan on or before July 10, 2013 while further adding that intense agitation will follow if government does not response to their demand and the outcome of any consequences of it, the government will be held responsible.
It further elaborated that the Ukhrul District Administration has failed on all fronts.
The press release further charged the Deputy Commissioner of Ukhrul of playing divide and rule policy towards various frontal Organizations which has affected the Tangkhul society and understanding of the frontal organizations.
It is further alleged R Sudhan of using abusive language and putting VDF in the lock-up.
The press release further said that the use of teachers under ZEO and ADC, in-service teachers of school are utilized as the SSA staffs without replacement to the parent school which affected the students' career while adding that the required VAT deducted was already deducted from the first installment under BADP scheme.
