IMPHAL, Sept 9: Applications are invited from journalists and feature writers of Manipur for the RK Maipaksana Journalist Fellowship for period of one year for doing research and document in the field of human rights, communal harmony, women and children of Manipur, sports in Manipur and art & culture including films in Manipur, said a press statement of the RK Maipaksana Memorial Trust, Singjamei Mathak Chongtham Leikai.
The press statement continued that the Fellowship, which carries a sum of Rs 2000/ per month, is conferred by the RK Maipaksana Memorial Trust further adding that the selected Fellow should write/publish two news stories/features in a month.
The application must be submitted in plain paper on or before September 25, 2013 to the office of the Kangleipakki Meira Daily, Keisampat Junction with the recommendation of the editor of the newspaper in which she/he is working along with an undertaking of the editor that the features/news stories will be published in the newspapers during the fellowship, it said.
