Akhu to feature in world project

IMPHAL, August 19: The NIIT Imphal centre along with CubeTen technologies, a licensee of NIIT limited today felicitated Dr Ronidkumar Chingangbam popularly known as Akhu Chingangbam-the frontman of band Imphal Talkies.
He was presented with a memento at the premise of NIIT, Imphal Centre Babupara.
Around 40 individuals including students and faculties of both the institutes attended the felicitating program.
Speaking to the media, Ningthoukhongjam Lakpati, a faculty of NIIT said that as part of a NIIT program every year there would be interaction program with selected prominent youths of the state.
He further said that Akhu Chingamgbam, a doctorate in Physics from Jamia Millia Islamia and currently on a post-doctoral assignment in Naresuaan University, Phitsanulok, Thailand, working on Cosmology has been selected amongst 33 artists selected from all over the world for the project-“Album of the Revolution”.
Speaking at his felicitation function, Akhu said his song “Lullaby” will feature in the world project.
