The bomb was safely picked up by a police team around 9pm yesterday itself.
Meanwhile, students during today demonstration held placards reading, “Fed up with extortion”, “Stop harassing education institute”, “Free atmosphere for better education”, “Let peace prevail”, “We are your future”, “Be the part of change”, “Be the part of progress”, and “Stop monetary demands”.
Moirangmayum Thoiba told media persons that soon after receiving the second message, he informed the Wangoi police.
