IMPHAL, July 6: The Popular Front of India, Manipur State has today issued a press release pronouncing greetings on the event of holy Ramjan while praying to the almighty for the prosperity and warfare of all community of Manipur and also appealed to all concerns not to call general strikes during this particular month.
The same Front has in another separate statement congratulated Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) for bringing the truth of the fake encounter of Ishrat Jahan and three others adding that such display of impartial investigation will strengthen the trust of the masses on the investigation progress while mentioning it as significant breakthrough although some conspirators were pending in the charge sheet, it said.
In another press statement, the chairman of the Front K M Shareef expressed deep concerns on the ousting of the first democratically elected president of Egypt by the armed forces which was allegedly a coup plan and executed by the military chiefs of Mubarak loyalists.
