ZSF condemns blast at Moreh

LAMKA, March 13: The Information and Publicity Department of the Zomi Students’ Federation (ZSF), constituted by the Chin, Simte, Mate, Paite, Thangkhal, Vaiphei and Zou student bodies, today issued a joint press release condemning the bomb attack at the residence of Lunkhosei alias Sesei Zou, Chairman of ADC, Chandel, who also happens to be the president of the United Zou Organisation, Moreh Block.

The statement also demanded that the perpetrators of the crime must be booked according to the law of the land and added "it is high time for us to realize that violence only beget violence and in this circumstances the ZSF appeal to every organization to desist from the path of violence and seek solution through peaceful negotiations." It further added that the ZSF could not understand and digest such barbaric act meted to their Zo ethnic brethren.
