IMPHAL, October 2: A motorcycle fleet on a mega tour from Pune (Saniwarwada) to Khongjom in Manipur will be arriving in Imphal on October 4 after passing through the North Eastern states via Kolkata.
The mega bike tour from Pune to Khongjom in Manipur’s Thoubal district will visit INA Complex at Moirang in Bishnupur district, memorial complexes of Gambhir Singh Maharaj, Bir Tikendrajit and Thangal General, and Nupilal Complex and Kangla Fort here to pay homage to the heroes.
RK Bishwajit, the Real Hero Awardee of CNN-IBN and Reliance Foundation will flag off the team from Sahid Minar here for its tour to Moirang and Khonghom.
The Confluence 2013—A Saga of Heroism is organising a reception ceremony at Imphal for the team on October 5. On their arrival in the state capital, a press meet will also be organizing at Rotary Club, Mantripukhri the same day.
Confluence 2013 in a statement has appealed the people of the state to join hands to welcome the motorists taking part in the rally. The team will leave the state on October 6.
