Gandhi Jayanti observed, pension cards distributed at Khangabok

IMPHAL, October 2: Along with observing the 144th Birth Anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi (Gandhi Jayanti), a felicitation function jointly organized by Khangabok Kendra Block Congress Committee, Block Mahila Congress and Youth Congress Committee to welcome the newly elected general secretary of Manipur Pradesh Mahila Congress Committee, S Thoibi was held today at Wangbal Community Hall.
During the function, pension cards were also distributed to elderly persons of the constituency. Speaking at the function, S Thoibi stated that she will abide by the suggestion and advice of her senior in discharging her duties.
It may be mentioned that with the function held today, the three-days long social service camp organized by booth committee, unit committee and Mahila Committee which had started from September 30 concluded today.
