AMKIL observes foundation day

IMPHAL, September 8: The Apunba Manipur Kanba Ima Lup (AMKIL) observed its 13th foundation day at EEMA conference hall, Keishampat Lairembi today.
Speaking at the function, RK Ranendrajit said that after Manipur was merged into India, atrocities have been increased and questioned that how far the citizens of the state have been considered as Indians by the center.
He further echoed the need to unite while making demands.
Porei Leimarol Apuba Meira Paibi Manipur, president, L Memchoubi said that the women organizations take part in various issues of the state.
Lamenting that the law and order situation of the state has been deteriorating, she appealed to all section of communities to save the state.
Kakomlung Kamei, president (KAMA) appealed to all regardless of communities to unite in a bid to safeguard the state.
