CRPF aid to children homes

IMPHAL, August 12: As a part of the civic action program, 69th Battalion CRPF Unit Head Quarter, Mantripukri distributed water storage tanks, water filters and sports items worth Rs one Lakh to children homes and local clubs today.
The function was attended by CRPF DGP Imphal Range S K Rai Singh, 69th Battalion CRPF Commandant P K Singh, 109th Battalion CRPF Commandant PK Mehra and 86th Battalion CRPF Commandant Sanjeev Kumar as chief guest, president and guest of honour.
Water storage tanks and water filters were distributed to Tabitha Children Home Mantripukhri, Ching Tam Ashram Mantripukhri, Blind School Takyel, Carmel Joyti Koirengei, Mother Teresa Care Home Mantripukhri and Hope Home Tera.
Sports items were distributed to Youth Social Club Kiyamgei, Hmar Youth Association Lamphel, Dry Bone Vision Langol, Eastern Youth Constructive Association Porompat and Kripa Foundation Mantripukri.
