Congress Seva Dal training camp concludes

IMPHAL, August 18: Seva Dals play an essential role in strengthening the Congress party and had played important role during the freedom struggle of this country from the British Empire.

This was said today by Chief Minister Okram Ibobi Singh while speaking at the closing ceremony function of the seven day long training camp of North East Zonal Congress Seva Dal which started on August 12 at Retreat House, Mantripukhri organised by Manipur Pradesh Congress Seva Dal.

The training camp was attended by Seva Dals from five states of the North East region (Assam, Tripura, Mizoram, Manipur and Arunachal Pradesh).

The Chief Minister further said that the camp was organised under the direction of All India Trade Union Congress and it is immense opportunity to organise such camp.

He also appealed the Seva Dals who attended the camp to use the knowledge which they learn during the camp in strengthening Seva Dal when they return back to their respective states.

Deputy Chief Minister Gaikhangam who is also the president of Manipur Pradesh Congress Committee said that during the camp various co-curricular activities were organized which was all part of the training to save guard the integrity of their respective states.

He said that Sava Dal is a symbol of love, discipline, integrity, sacrifice and cooperation with each other. He also said such Sava Dal training camps teaches to love and to save the integrity.
