PFI extends help to Md Nayimuddin family

IMPHAL, July 22: The Popular Front of India has today said in a press release that a team of the Front including Sora area leaders visited the families of late Nayimuddin and others who have suffered casualties in the recent encounter and gave 50 kg rice to each victim families along with edible oil, Dal etc.

The press release urged the Govt of Manipur to give befitting penalties to those police personnel who are involved in the firing and added not to remain as spectators. It will be possible to arrest the culprits involved in the murder of DK James and Nayimuddin only after restoring normalcy between the localities of Sora and Minou village while further expressed that they will extend support to the democratic movement of the JAC and urged to continue the struggle until it gets justice, it said.
