CM greets people on Cheiraoba

IMPHAL, April 10: The Chief Minister Okram Ibobi Singh has expressed his greetings to the people of Manipur on the auspicious occasion of Shajibu Nongma Panba Cheiraoba .

The message from the CM reads, "Shajibu Nongma Panba Cheiraoba festival heralds the advent of the New Year and is celebrated with religious fervour and gaiety. The festivals strengthen the bond of love and brotherhood among the members of each family in particular and among the fellow members in the neighbourhood in general."

He extended his warmest greeting and wishes that the celebration of Shajibu Nongma Panba Cheiraoba festival would bring joy and prosperity and peaceful co-existence among all the people of the state.
