Governor’s Award and RK Sanatombi Devi Award 2103

IMPHAL, August 21: A meeting of the Selection Committee of the Governor’s Award and RK Sanatombi Devi Award 2013 held at Asha Jina Complex on August 19 last has recommended several persons for the mentioned awards, conveyed a press release issued by Th Haridas Singh, chairman of the delection committee.
The persons who have listed for the Governor’s Award 2013 which carries a cash amount of Rs 15000 are Shrilla Elangbam, Marinda Rajkumari and Kiran Potsangbam (all Class XI Sc students of RK Sanatombi Devi Vidyalaya).
Whereas persons selected for the RK Sanatombi Devi Award 2013 which carries cash prize of Rs 5000 along with a certificate include Miranda Mongbijam (student of Nirmalabas High School who stood first position in HSLC 2013), Salam Baruni Singh (asst teacher of 13 AR High School, Somrai, Ukhrul), Nurjahan Begum (Head Mistress of Makhapat Govt School, Naharup), Wanglembam Thoibi Devi (Fencing player), Soram Rani Devi (Armwrestling player), Thoudam Kalpana Devi (Judo player), Potsangbam Bidyarani Devi (Wrestling player), Tongbram Bidyalaxmi Devi (Cycling player), Leimram Joypriya Chanu (Taekwondo player) and Huidrom Rasheshori Devi (traffic police).
The awards will be presented to the enlisted persons on September 10 at Asha Jina Complex at 11 am, it added.
