LAMKA, Sept 7: The Kuki Women Human Right Organisation (KWHRO) today organised a one day seminar on Human Rights and current political issues at Vengnuam community Hall, Bijang, Ccpur.
The program started at 10 am with imminent persons from the Kuki community speaking on diverse topics.
Dr S Chongloi spoke on the topic of how to protect Kuki land while Dr Kim Vaiphei present her paper on Kuki custom and the conditions of women.
In the second session in the evening, George Guite gave a speech on the topic “Kuki political movement for homeland” while Kim Gangte spoke on “Human rights is women’s rights.”
