Police register Suo-Moto case in PLA claimed attack on AR

IMPHAL, Sept 29: The police has registered a Suo-moto case in connection with yesterday’s attack carried out by PLA cadres at 44-AR post D-company located near Kongkan Village, 29 Km South East of Chasad Police Station, Ukhrul District.
Police sources said that the Suo-moto was registered as the AR officials did not lodge any formal complaint with regard to the incident.
To further investigate in this case, a team of police have visited the AR post, informed the source. As per their report, no substantial damage was inflicted by the attack. At the same time, there was no report of any serious injury.
It may be recalled that heavily armed militant numbering around 100 launched an attacked at the AR post yesterday afternoon, which was later claimed by the PLA.
