AMTUC & AMGEO JAC discusses demands with RR Rashmi

IMPHAL, Sept 9: The leaders of JAC of AMTUC and AMGEO met the Additional chief secretary who holds the finance in charge, RR Rashmi at his office chamber and discussed with him the release of due DA, DR, ACP scheme and children education allowance.
During the meeting, RR Rashmi gave assurance to the JAC team to meet their demand in a week, said a press release of the Joint Administrative Council of All Manipur Trade Unions Council (AMTUC) and All Manipur Govt Employees Organisation (AMGEO).
Meanwhile, the leaders of the JAC paid a visit to the Minor Irrigation Department so as to show solidarity to the strike of the employees of the Minor Irrigation Department and also met with the Chief Engineer urging him to release pending salaries of the muster roll and work charged employees, it said.
