IMPHAL, Sept 23: The United Forum of Bank Unions, Manipur State Committee today in a press release said that the All India Bank Employees' Association (AIBEA) and Bank Employees Federation of India (BEFI) has called for an All India Bank Strike on September 25, 2013 protesting against the move of the government towards implementation of financial reforms.
The United Forum of Bank Unions (UFBU) decided to extend fraternal support to the strike of AIBEA & BEFI in their struggle against the anti-national reform measures being implemented by the Government, it said.
Hence, all the branches of Public Sector Banks, Commercial Banks, Co-Operative Banks and Rural Banks operating in the State will remain close on September 25, 2013.
