450 saplings planted in Sagolband

IMPHAL, September 5: Approximately 450 saplings of Ashoka tree and palm trees were planted across Sagolband ac especially on the Waheng leikai to Keisampat Road and Wahengleikai to Tera Road on National Highway 53 by Sagolband Constituency Progressive Committee today.

The trees were taken from a private nursery at an approximate cost of Rs 60,000 which will be covered from the local area fund of MLA RK Imo Singh.

This is in tune with the policy of the govt and the Chief Minister who wants and desires a green Manipur. People of various localities participated in the plantation.
