State Girl's dead body reaches Imphal

IMPHAL, June 6: The lifeless body of the state girl who was found dead inside her rented room in Chirag Dilli on May 29, was today brought to the state capital by an Indian Airlines flight at around 2:30pm.
A large number of people including family members, student organizations, women bodies, civil society organization and well-wishers turned up at the Imphal Tulihal Airport to receive her lifeless body.
The lifeless body of the deceased was taken to Tangkhul Baptist Church at Chingmeirong where it was laid for the well-wishers to pay tribute before it is finally returned to her native place Ukhrul tomorrow for her last rites.
Speaking to the media, a relative of the deceased expressed disappointment at the way the investigation is being carried out by Delhi police regarding her suspicious death.
