RBI inter school quiz held at JNMDA

IMPHAL, June 25: RBI Guwahati has organized the second edition of All India RBI Inter School Quiz Programme at Jawaharlal Nehru Manipur Dance Academy, Imphal on June 25, said a release of RBI.
Imphal was one of the 44 centres where RBI has decided to conduct such quiz programme this year. The quiz was conducted by renowned quiz master Gautam Bose. All together 37 teams comprising each of two students from various schools participated in the programme, the release said.
PK Jena, Regional Director, RBI, Guwahati inaugurated the programme in the presence of large audiences consisting of mainly teachers, parents, students of various schools, it said.
The quiz programme was conducted in two phases. In the first round (Pre Quarter Final) a written test was conducted where six teams scoring highest marks in order were selected for second round (Quarter Final Round). The quarter final was an audio and visual round. In the final round the team from Sishu Nistha Niketan School scored highest mark and was selected to represent Manipur in Zonal Final which is likely to be held at Kolkata. All six teams competing in final round were given prizes and the others were given participation certificates, it added.
