Fire destroys properties worth Rs 37 lakh at Church

LAMKA, June 7: A major fire that broke out last night at around 12:30 at Christian Fellowship Church (CFC), Tuibuang in Churachandpur district has gutted properties worth around 37 lakh.
According to eye witnesses, it took around two hours for the fire tenders to douse the fire. A short circuit is suspected to be the cause of the fire. Furniture, sound system, steel Almira, batteries, and other items were gutted in the fire. The building was recently renovated and was constructed at the cost of more than Rs 50 lakhs.
