Manipur Heart foundation brings in helicopter ambulance service

IMPHAL, March 3: In a first of its kind in the state, The Manipur Heart Foundation will be providing helicopter ambulance service in the State to transport critically ill heart patients from the districts to Imphal. This was stated  by Dr L Shyamkishore Singh, President of the Manipur Heart Foundation during its inaugural function today. The Manipur Heart Foundation, under the aegis of East West Healthcare & Research Institute (EWHRI) RIMS Road is a joint collaboration with Sky Hospital and Research Centre was inaugurated at Sky Hospital and Research Centre, RIMS,  Imphal West.

Dr L Shyamkishore Singh further stated that the foundation is providing help for various heart operations and pacemaker implantation to poor patients, besides organizing  free heart camps in various districts in the state.
