Father kills son

IMPHAL, March 4: In an inhuman act, a father killed his own son with a hoe. The incident happened this evening around 2pm at Heirok Part I, Heituppokpi Leikai and the Thoubal Police has registered a case in the regard. Sources identified the victim as Nngthoujam Rajendro Meitei alias RK (30) while the father is identified as Omor Meitei (53).
The victim’s dead body has been deposited at the JNIMS morgue for post mortem while the father is presently in police custody.
Further details were not forthcoming till the filling of this report.
