KSDC condemns security personnel

IMPHAL, Feb 27: The Kuki State Demand Committee (KSDC), Tamenglong District and Jiri Zone has said in a press release that it condemns the manner in which 7th IRB, Manipur, Manipur Police Commando and Security forces posted at Jiribam  not only mistreated the bandh agitators but also snatched and set  fire to their placards using indecent words.

The committee appealed to them not to repeat such incidents in the future and to people to extend all help possible to the agitation . Reiterating that the body will take up further course of agitations, the KSDC has warned all concerned to let their vehicles remain off the roads failing which, they would be solely responsible for any untoward incidents.
