What a CM!!!...

Mr.O.Ibobi Sir, "What is the harm in the alternative arrangements to solve the Naga Issues (GOI - NSCNIM)?”.

This was the question asked by Mr.Sindhe(Union Home Minister) to Mr.O.Ibobi, CM of Manipur. And the most surprisingly, the answer given by Mr.O.Ibobi as reported in the newspaper was, "Please give me in writing the provisions of the alternative arrangements so that i may discuss the matter with my cabinet colleagues... (and then he will give the answers…)”.

Ohh!!! What a pity…. It was only yesterday in the newspapers reporting that our CM Mr.Ibobi is going to debate with the union home minister Mr.Sindhe on the issues of the integrity of Manipur vis-a-bis NSCNIM talk with GOI (government of India). 

I wonder, a Chief Minister who cannot even give a simple and direct answer like, "It is harmful or not harmful " to such a simple question is going to debate with the union home minister on an issue that will have a far reaching consequence not only in Manipur but in the entire North eastern region.

At the first place, when the union home minister asked him what is the harm, Mr.ibobi should have told, "Mr .Sindhe, It (the AA) is very very harmful to the spirit of Manipur and that it will destroy the very social harmony which would definitely disturb the entire social fabrics of the North east, because the very idea of the AA is based on the mediable nationalistic philosophy of exclusive nationalism. Manipur is not safe in the hands of Mr.O.Ibobi singh, the Chief Minister of Manipur. Therefore it is high time the political activist, social workers, meira paibis(women activist), the intellectuals, students and large but not the least the media people should come forth and raise their voice.
