Ladies day

IMPHAL, Nov 19: Sri Sathya Sai Seva Organisation, Manipur today organized “Shakti Swaroopini” in connection with the 5th State Level Ladies’ Day celebration.

The function was organised at Prashanti Mandir, Mantripukhri with the theme ‘Role of Ladies in Bhagawan’s Divine Mission.’

Retired Principal of DM College of Commerce and former chairperson of Manipur State Women’s Commission Dr Ch Jamini Devi was also attended as chief guest of the function.

As part of the function the chief guest inaugurated the exhibition held in the premises of the Mandir.

During the function, veda chanting and bhajan were also performed.

Dr Ch Jamini Devi said that for the betterment of the women society she has started an ashram. In the ashram bhajan and other devotional activities are performed.

She added that however she cannot attend the devotional activities because of tight schedules of work promoting women society in Manipur.

She also lauded the organisers of the function as this function helps in promote and guide the role of women towards the society.
