JAC reaffirms contempt case on ADC teachers

Imphal, Nov 9: The Joint Action Committee for 2006/2009 Autonomous District Council DPC Faced Candidates' Parents and Guardians, Manipur has passed certain resolutions in the wake of the case of ADC teachers during an emergency meeting held at Nagaram Community Hall  on Friday.

In the resolutions, the JAC strongly condemned the acts of sabotaging contempt case for 835 teachers ADC teachers by vested interest person.

The meeting also resolved to re-affirm contempt case which is lying in the Gauhati High Court, Imphal and expressed gratitude to the court's decision for payment of back wages for 835 teachers of 2006 ADC appointees, said a press release signed by Chungsat Khongsai, convenor and R.S. Khawungsing, co-convenor of the JAC.
