East Zone Inter University Handball Championship

IMPHAL, November 7: The East Zone Inter University Handball Championship will conclude tomorrow at the SAI-RC Takyel. The championship is being organized by Manipur University under the Indian University, New Delhi.

In today’s matches, the Manipur University men’s team defeated MG Kashi VIdyapith, UP by 16-14; VBSP University defeated Pt RSS University by 16-09, Manipur University defeated VBS Purbanchal University by 22-14.

In the women’s event, the Manipur University women’s team continue to win before eventually losing to Pandit Ravi Shankar Shukla Univ.

The MU team defeated Calcutta University by 20-02 and later defeated Veer Bahadur Singh by 17-03.

In other matches of the day in the women’s event, Pandit Ravi Shankar Shukla University defeated Veer Bahadur Singh and later Manipur University by 13-06. Purvanchal Univ by15-03; and later defeated Calcutta University by 19-02 while Veer Bahadur Singh, Purvanchal University defeated Calcutta University by 06-05.
