Coal linkages for power plants top priority: Scindia

"Immediate priority is to ensure fuel linkages for power sector," he told reporters on the sidelines of an NTPC event in New Delhi on Tuesday.
On pooling prices of coal, he said: "Pooling of coal and fuel prices as pass-through is being deliberated."
He further said it is essential to ensure that generation remains on track and linkages are in place.
"We are in talks with Coal and Environment ministries to sort out issues of clearances, sampling and pricing," he added. (DD-20.11)
