CRPF organize mass planation and humanitarian programme

IMPHAL, August 18: 69 Bn CRPF has madeexcellent efforts under the campaign "MY EARTH MY DUTY" - Zee TV and CPMF environmental awareness initiative to go green in a massive way in its area of responsibility.

BD Das, DIG,CRPF, launched the programme at Mantripukhri generating an electric effect in his men and galvanizing their energy for the noble deed. More than 1000 unit personnel have taken solemn pledge to plant at least one sapling and will nurture the same till it becomes strong enough to survive on its own.

The unit has also initiated the awareness programme among the children from orphanages,SaiVidya Nursing School, Jai Hind Primary School, Carmel Jyoti Care Home, DAV public school and Mother Teresa care home. The children and teachers also planted sapling in CRPF camp.

BD Das, DIG, CRPF chaired the Civic Action programme at Unit HQR, Mantripukhri campus in which study materials were distributedto the needy and poor school going children as a part of noble gesture of the force.

Speaking on the occasion as chief guest, BD Das conveyed that CRPF is a true friend and peace keeper of local people and will always remain at their service whenever they need. He further stated that CRPF will continue to serve the people and will contribute to their growth, development and prosperity.RK Singh, commandant of the unit has also assured the gathering that the unit will continue to take care for the Welfare and aspirations of the people.
