"Nobility of Games should not be lost": ADC Kpi

KANGPOKPI, October 9: "In every Games and Sports one should not lost the nobility of it", noted DK.Thangboi Haokip, Addl Deputy Commissioner, Kangpokpi while adding that victory is not at all that matters, but participation in an event.
DK Thangboi was speaking as chief guest on the inaugural function of the 4th Edition of Kie-Beh N'hok(Ward Sports) organized by T Khullen Youth Club in loving memory of (L) T Akeng, chief of T Khullen this morning at Brig RS Sirohi Playground at T Khullen village.
Md Jakiruddin, Addl SPKangpokpi attended the function as guest of honour and emphasised on the significance of Games and Sports in moulding youths along the right path.
The Addl.SP also said that young people are full of energy and if no healthy outlet is provided, it expresses itself in the form of mischief, hooliganism and other undesirable activities.
Ten teams of Ward No 1 to 11 excluding Ward No 8 will take part in the memorial tournament, according to the organizing committee.
