BSNL Formation Week concludes

IMPHAL, October 7: A one week long ‘BSNL Formation Week’ organized by the Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited Manipur which was inaugurated on October 1, concluded today at the Telephone Bhawan Conference Hall, BSNL Bhawan Building in Babupara.
The week long awareness programme which was conducted with the aim for educating the customers is the second such programme conducted by the BSNL, General Manager Telephone Director Manipur SSA J Lumkim said.
The BSNL wants the public to understand the facilities provided by BSNL and the avail of the opportunities, he said.
Telecom Regulatory Authority of India provides several directives for the public, he said and further appealed to the media to highlight the facilities provided by the BSNL and help it expand its market, he said.
He said the BSNL is not a business house but aims at providing proper facilities to the people and hope to become better in the future.
Rural Woman Society, Kodompokpi Secretary and representative of TRAI, Y Shanti Devi said that the programme was aimed at generating awareness in different areas so that the people will know the benefits of BSNL.
