JIRIBAM, Sept 4: The All Jiribam Working Journalists’ Union expressed their concerns on the disturbances and threats to the journalist related activities thereby compelling the media houses to discontinue their service while further saying that such act of threats and disturbances are unfortunate.
The press release further continued that there would not be freedom, development and equal society if there is threat and disturbance to the journalists are working day and night against all odds. In the face of the changing global scenario, all should try to understand the role and importance of newspapers. It further appealed to withdraw all threats and disturbances to media community.
