IMPHAL, July 12: Demanding the transfer of Ukhrul DC R. Sudhan before July 10, 2013, the Tangkhul Katamnao Saklong (TKS) has threatened that it will impose public cutfew from July 14 if the DC is not transfered before the set deadline.
In a statement, the frontal organisation said that people were shocked at the intention of the government by sending hundreds of CRPF personnel and creating 'a war like situation' instead of mitigating the cry of people to transfer the wanton, irresponsible DC.
While maintaining that the State government should be held responsible for any untoward consequences, the organisation further apppealed to the public to extend co-operation to the cause.
Medical, electricity and media will be exempted from the purview of the curfew, it added.
