Political worker’s conference held

IMPHAL, May 26: Yaiskul Block Congress Committee (YBCC) organized a one day block level political worker’s conference at Naharol Shintha Kanglup Community Hall, Wangkhei Keithel Ashangbi Machin here today.
Speaking at the occasion, Gaikhangam, President Manipur Pradesh Congress Committee (MPCC) exhorted that Congress is a political party with high responsibility and people oriented. The party has to keep in touch with the people to draw the strength and soul of it. It needs the blessing of the people.
He also spoke about its success in the elections in three consecutive terms and said the people of the state loves the party and recognizing its performance, ideology, program, progress, achievements and commitment has chosen it.
The occasion was attended by Ph Guneshwor Sharma, President YBCC; T Mangibabu, MLA Thanga AC; Dr Kh Loken, Vice President MPCC; and Elangbam Chand, MLA Yaiskul AC.
