Miller's sensational century leads Punjab to amazing win

Mohali, May 6: David Miller bludgeoned his way to a sensational 38-ball 101 as Kings XI Punjab pulled off a dramatic six-wicket win over Royal Challengers Bangalore in their Pepsi IPL match in Mohali on Monday.
Miller played one of the most breathtaking knocks in IPL history and shared an unbelievable unbeaten 130-run stand for the fourth wicket with Rajgopal Satish (27) as the hosts overhauled the imposing 191-run target with 12 balls to spare.
Playing his first game of the season, Pujara scored a gritty 51 off 48 balls with the help of eight boundaries before getting bowled out by Gony.
Gony gave Punjab first breakthrough by dismissing Chris Gayle just after Bangalore crossed 100-mark in the 12th over.
Gayle slammed quick-fire 61 off 33 balls.
The southpaw started slowly at the green PCA track but soon went offensive against the Punjab attack.
The explosive opener shared 102-run stand for the first wicket with Pujara and hit three sixes and six boundaries during his explosive knock.
Pujara reached his half-ton in the 14th over. Pujara's fifty came off 45 balls.
Kings XI Punjab won the toss and elected to bowl against Royal Challengers Bangalore at the PCA stadium.
Cheteshwar Pujara replaced Lokesh Rahul while Ravi Rampaul is back or Muralitharan in Bangalore squad.
For Punjab, Michael Naser replaced Luke Pomersbach.
