CCpur community leaders discuss

 AMKA, May 16: The Chairperson of the Autonomous District Council, Churachandpur toon Wednesday ranging from sanitation in the district and MGNREGS job cards to the scattering of hate incited pamphlets last week.

Leaders from almost all tribes living in the district were present at the meeting and discussed at length the issue of the hate-incited pamphlet being spread against a certain community by miscreants.

The meeting deliberated on ways to find the culprits and punish them.

Meanwhile, it is learnt that the unanimous mood during the meeting was that no one, be it a group or tribe, will be allowed to hijack the peace and tranquility that epitomizes the atmosphere in the district.

The leaders at the meeting reiterated their condemnation of the incidents on May 7 to 10 and resolved that there is a need for consultative meetings among the different tribes.

The chairperson of ADC CCpur who was also the host thanked the gathered leaders and expressed that all should remain vigilant and carry out their duties so as to check such kind of unwanted incidents that has the potential to spiral into more problems.
