2 grenades found, exploded by police

IMPHAL, May 6: A Chinese hand grenade was found in front of a saw mill on  Sagolband Ingudam Leirak under Imphal police station along the Imphal-Jiribam road in Imphal west at around 6 a.m.today. Bomb experts of the police picked up and exploded it safely at Langol. The saw mill is said to belong to one Dilip.

Another Chinese hand grenade tightly wrapped in plastic was found near Ibudhou Meijrao Lakpa Community hall of Irom Meijrao under Wangoi police station of Imphal west at around 11 a.m. and was safely exploded by bomb experts of the police on the banks of the Nambul river.
