Chief Minister inspects Adimjati Complex

IMPHAL, April 4: An official statement of the Chief Minister’s secretariat said that Chief Minister Okram Ibobi Singh visited the Adimjati complex located at Chingmeirong Khongnang Ani Karak and inspected the construction works taking place in connection with the visit of the President, Pranab Mukherjee.

The Chief Minister talked with MP Rishang Keising, Deputy Chief Minister Gaikhangam, Parliamentary Secretary, Tribal Affairs and Hills Victor Keising and MLA T Mang Waiphei about the progress of the construction works and inspected the construction sites.

Meanwhile, it may be mentioned the Dy Chief Minister had announced on April 1 that President Pranab Mukherjee will be visiting the state capital on April 15 and unveil the Adimjati Siksha Ashram 60th anniversary monolith.

Speaking to media persons at the sidelines of an inspection visit of the ashram, the Deputy CM had also announced that the Chief Minister will be inspecting the ashram before the proposed April 15 visit of the Indian President.
