Justice TNK Singh to be sworn in as Justice of Meghalaya High Court

IMPHAL, March 19: Gauhati High Court, Imphal Bench Justice Tayengjam Nadakumar Singh will be sworn in as the Justice of the new High Court of Meghalaya which will be open on March 23.

Earlier, the High Courts of Assam, Nagaland, Tripura, Meghalaya, Manipur, Mizoram and Arunachal Pradesh were all combined into Gauhati High Court with only division by benches.

However, in some few days Manipur, Meghalaya and Tripura will have separate High Courts.

Gauhati High Court, Imphal Bench Justice T Nadakumar Singh has been transferred as Justice of the High Court of Meghalaya and an advance team of the court has left Imphal for Meghalaya today while Justice Nadakumar will be leaving Imphal on March 23.
