School students protest

IMPHAL, Feb 12, 2013: Taking serious note of the missing of two young students, fellow students staged a twin protest demonstration at their respective schools with an appeal to release the boys, in case any groups or persons are holding them hostage.

Soibam Surjakanta (13) s/o Somen of Yurembam Awang Leikai and Thounaojam Birjit alias Babloo (13) s/o Kumar of Tharoijam Maning Leikai went missing since November 28 and 29 last year respectively.

Somen was studying in Pole Star Public School, Patsoi in class VIII while Surjakanta was studying in Pari Imom Khwai Sindam Shang, Takyel Khongbal in class VI.

Urging to find their whereabouts, students of the two schools staged a twin protest demonstration at their respective schools today.
