AMWOVA to observe International Mothers’ Day

IMPHAL, February 24: The All Manipur Women Voluntary Association (AMWOVA) said in a press release that it has been organising International Women’s Day as in other parts of the world.

One Billion Rising was also organised by AMAWOVA on February 14.

However it lamented that all the crimes against women have been taking place nonstop. The release added that a seminar under the theme “crime against women” will be held to mark International Women’s Day under the aegis of AMAWOVA at Imphal Hotel on March 8.
