AMGOCTA hails superannuation age increase

IMPHAL, February 24: A press release issued by the All Manipur Government College Teachers’ Association said that the association in its executive committee meeting held today at 11.00 am at DM College of Arts, Imphal expressed gratitude to the government  of Manipur over the decision taken to increase the superannuation age of college teachers from 62 years to 65 years as per the guidelines of University Grants Commission (UGC) and Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Government of India.

The association also applauded the sincere efforts of the Chief Minister O Ibobi singh and the Education Minister M Okendro to uplift the higher education in the state while appealing to all the members to strictly adhere to UGC norms and guidelines to discharge their duties.
