Manipur Jailors Shine in West Bengal

IMPHAL, April 12: A press release issued by the SP, Manipur Central Jail, Imphal and Sajiwa said that six Asst. Jailors’ recruits of Jail Department, Manipur who underwent training at Regional Institute of Correctional Administration (RICA), West Bengal from January 7 to March, 30 have bagged all the top prizes during the combined Prison officers Basic Training Course.
Khumujam Hooter, Asst. Jailor bagged the RICA All Round Best Trainee award besides Best Trainee Outdoors prize and W. Komal Maring, Asst. Jailor bagged the Best Trainee Indoor (Studies) prize.
Their Outstanding performance of bagging all the top awards was lauded by Director, RICA, West Bengal and Addl.DGP (Prisons) M.K. Das.
